We almost always travel with a full water tank even if our destination has water hook ups. I know the quality of my well water (very good). Don't know what we are going to get when we get to where we are going. The weight is a non issue. The truck could care less about the extra weight and the MPG difference is not even measureable. An added + is when we arrive & depart, I do not have to hook up or disconnect any hoses and don't worry about too much pressure etc. Only exception would be staying beyond 5 days or so. Then we will hook up.
