Actually that would be an interesting survey to see how many people drink/cook with the water from their water tank vs bringing separate water. Personally we use it for all purposes and the only time we bring any separate water is a 5 gallon collapsible jug of water to help extend our time without filling and that is used for drinking just out of convenience.
