That's right, most people that tow heavy fifth wheels with SWR trucks are over weight. The payload capacity is the issue along with tires

The SRW 3500 trucks have a payload of around 2700+/- lbs while the duallys are around 5500 lbs. And to make matters even worse, many tow with 2500 trucks, a lot of these are WAY over weight.

The problem is not just with the trailers pin weight. You have to account for everything that is resting on the trucks tires including all the passengers in the truck. 5- 200# people add up fast, not to mention your bed full of fire wood at 750#s. By the time you load the truck there's not much more payload capacity for the trailers pin weight.
