This is an excuse, I was quality control for 30 years it didn`t cost a dime more to check peoples work as they were doing it. " This is true. I also have some experience in the quality control area. The cost for a effective quality control program is setting up a effective program, training the employees and monitoring the program. Our job was to show the employer that a good quality program could increase profit, efficiency, etc but most did not want to spend the up front $$$ to implement the program. There was also union resistance as they saw it as a method to reduce the workforce through greater efficiency.
