A lot of us were just there for the Spring Rally and drove through the park on our way to Jackson or leaving after the rally. The roads are just fine if no construction is going on. The problems are the record amount of people visiting the park, especially this time of the year. Delays can be very lengthy, especially if animals are sighted anywhere near the roads. If possible, travel early before the majority of the tourists get going. We spent 90 minutes going 5 miles while buffalo were crossing the road and everyone had to take pictures. It wasn't any fun anymore going up a couple of hills at 2-3 mph in stop and go traffic pulling 16k lbs!
