Door county is a beautiful area to visit. Its only 5 hrs from were we are and we have been going up there for the last 6 years. We have been staying at Baileys Grove campgroung in Baileys Harbor. campnowwi@yahoo.com They are very nice people. They retired and full timed camped and then bought this campground to run in the summer and camp in arizona in the winter. I highly recommend them. There are lots of arts and paintings up there. And some christmas only stores with lots of santas. The miles and miles of gorgeous coast line around the lake make the trip well worth the drive. You meet lots of nice people up there. We were up there two weeks ago and a group of safari owners came in together, about 10 of them from texas to tenn and its nice to visit with them about the country they have seen and the areas to visit up there.
