We could put the stackable units in ours, but we don't want to lose that much storage space so we are looking at the combo unit. I understand that a vented unit works best and to do multiple small loads vs trying to do large loads. Keep watching CW adds, that seem to have them on sale, I'm sorry we missed the most recent sale, 899 was an excellent price, hope they repeat it before fall as we want one before wintering for 5-6 months in the Monty (in warmer climate of course) Best of luck in what ever way you decide to go.
