The problem with the battery disconnect label is this. In a logical sense (I'm a programmer):

"ON": means "positive" or "true" or "1" or "yes".
"OFF": means "negative" or "false" or "0" or "no".

So when Keystone labels the switch "Disconnect ON", that translates logically to me as "Disconnect is TRUE" or "Yes, the battery is disconnected".

That logic holds for the inverse. "Disconnect OFF" translates logically as "Disconnect is false" or "No, the battery is not disconnected (it's connected)". A double-negative.

The reality is that Keystone means the opposite.

"ON" means the battery is connected.
"OFF" means the battery is not connected (disconnected).

So logically the label is completely misleading. It's more like the switch is called the "Disconnect" switch, but the ON and OFF labels have nothing to do with the word "Disconnect" that precedes it.

The switch should not be read as "Disconnect ON" (Yes, disconnect the battery) and "Disconnect OFF" (No, do not disconnect the battery) otherwise you'll get confused as I did.

Gonna fire up my label maker and re-label "ON" and "OFF" as "CONNECTED" and "DISCONNECTED".

This is a real pet-peeve of mine, as you can tell.
