No doubt opening up the collapsed return air helps but go on top your unit, remove the cover then the foam shroud, get all the wood chips,saw dust and who knows what else is embedded in the fins of the coil out, then you need to get the two hand full of wires that were just thrown in the duct up and attached to the back of the electrical enclosure so air can pass freely, shotty installation job!
