I am in the same situation, as I am licensed in PA as well. I believe that there is no written test for the class A non-commercial endorsement, but there is the driving test. I didn't realize that I would need a "licensed" driver to go with me for the driving test. Heck, I'm from north central PA by the NY state border in the middle of nowhere and have no clue where I'm going to have to go for the test when I'm ready.
