Congratulations on your shakedown trip, we finished out shakedown on our 07, 3400rl, today also. Ours was successful, everything worked except the surround sound. It is a mess and I need to rewire it. Other than that all is great. Thursday we are taking it on the road for a short trip, be gone may 2 or 3 weeks or so.
On the electric for the H20 heater, my last unit had a switch, as well as breakers, etc., someone was always hitting the switch, which would trip the 30amp park breaker. I finally turned off the circuit breaker in the junction box. With the 50 amp rigs you probably wouldn't have that problem, but believe me you don't want an easily accessible switch
