yup, sounds like a defective mixing valve.... move it one way and it should be cold, move it the other and it should get hot. If there's no significant change, then the problem may be the mixing valve. I have heard of some single valve faucets where the rings become twisted up somehow and prevents flow of one of the water temps.

If the hot water works elsewhere, then it's not the hot water heater. It might be a good idea to check the outside shower if you have one. These usually have separate cold or hot water faucets. Turn on the hot and check that it's hot.

If the rig is new enough, get to the dealer quick and get this fixed. Hopefully there's still some warranty time left.
