As any fireman will tell you, just GET OUT. Forget the fire extinquisher (unless it is a grease fire on the stove, or the toaster is on fire), let the fire dept. handle it. When I ran high rise buildings, the fire dept. told me NEVER try to use the fire hoses (even told us to get rid of them) because they don't want to have to fight the fire AND rescue people at the same time.
