Never had, but I make a loop or two depending on the excess and put the rear stabilizer in the center of the loop (not on the cord, OK) so if someone did try and take it it would be a little harder. You know how the cord is kinda stiff, so I figured if someone would be looking for easy pickins they would go to my neighbor who's was laying out easy to get. Sorry neighbor, that's life.
