Before you put anything in a diesel engine make sure it is rated for diesel use. Putting Gasser oil in will damage your engine due to not having the right additives to keep impurities in suspension and deal with the chemicals from combustion. Read the fine print on the Amsoil before you extend drain intervals. Their warranty is quite limited for EGR engines and your MFG warranty could be completely void.
