I’ve been runnng a product call Stealth witch does this same thing, I’ve had mine installed for 6months or so with no ill effects. I read tons of reviews before I took the plunge on it, it’s taken most of the lag out of mine which made it more pleasurable to drive as my daily driver. I haven’t seen any increase in mpg but it has made a nice add to the low end tq and hp while not effecting my above 2000 rpm power, haven’t seen anymore def being used vs stock settings.
