Don’t take offense now that we know you don’t know we will wait and see what the owner can find out.

I cleaned the water out of a 2005 Duramax a couple of months ago it was pumped thru the system to the point it was in the fuel return lines.

I put a pump on the line at the tank and pumped diesel at about 50 PSI and bled the water out of all of the injection lines without removing the injectors.

I removed the fuel tank and cleaned it out.

I only changed the fuel filter and the FICM. I am sure the FICM failure wasn’t related to the water contamination.

They have been running it dally without a problem but I am waiting I am sure something will crop up in the future.

I now have 2 more but they are not the common rail they are older not so much trouble. LOL
