Yes, I just used short 1/4" lag screws. The floor is about 3/4" thick and the tanks are about 1.5" below that. I drilled a pilot hole in the runners to clear the lags, then countersunk the holes to recess the lag heads. The lags are only really threaded in to the flooring. I have stuff against my sidewalls, so the bungee cord deal doesn't work for me.
