The early 2015 models were wide body, 5200 lb axles, 6 lug wheels. The late 2015 models are built pretty much like the 2016 models: 8' wide, 6k axles, 8 lug wheels (110psi). They are also about 13" longer because of the king bed slide. We ordered a 2015 305RL and were expecting what we had looked at, the early version at 33'11". But what we got was the later version at 35'. We are really happy with what we got. The larger axles and wheels and some of the finishes were much better than the early models. What we hate is, they lowered the hutch to the point that the coffee maker barely fits under it. We have to pull it out to add water. Also, they moved the linen closet to behind the toilet instead of next to the medicine cabinet. The ceiling is flat instead of curved also (doesn't make a difference to us). The vanity in the bathroom is laminate instead of solid surface.

I think that unless you are full timers, the HC deserves a strong look. And if you are full timers but unable to pay $70k+ for a rig, the HC deserve a strong look as well. Many people have been full timers for years in $30k fifth wheels, so its not impossible.
