Does he buy from any no-name stations? I only buy from name brand (Shell, Exxon, etc) on the assumption that they have a dedicated supply system and name to protect and are less likely to have “bad” diesel than an unbranded station getting fuel from where ever they get it. May be living in dreamland, but have never got bad diesel or gasoline.
