Mike, I had a closer look at our Canadian version. It's basically the American version, but they have omitted the connections and circuitry for the parallel kit and put on a different applique faceplate (the part we see) with bilingual labels. I can send pictures (don't know how to conveniently display them here). I would need the internal pieces like connectors and sync circuitry to hook up the parallel kit.
Does anybody have experience with the bigger gennies that will run one AC comfortably? Handa and Yamaha come to mind, but how about other brands like Kipor, etc?
Mike, what is the actual current draw, starting and running, of the stock 15kBTU AC unit?
