My vent cover died twice. One time it was during a storm in the Denver area at the state campground in Aurora, I think it is. Oh, it is Cherry Creek - very nice park.
anyway bad storm, radio or tv saying tornado sighting at some street crossroads - we have no idea of where that was at??!!?? Anyway it starts hailing and we are about to head to a restroom about 50 feet away made from cement blocks. With big hail we were trying to figure out what to cover our heads with to keep from getting knocked out. Just then it stopped - but it had knocked a hole in the vent. I just covered it with gray duct tape until we got home.
Oh, the very small tornado was about 2- 3 miles away and had minor damage to one house, I think. Still - it was a bit worrisome.
