The fun is trying to find a new unit that will fit into that permanent opening and mountuing slide bracket. Most new TVs are thinner and smaller in the 32". The back mounts are different on some. Our slide mount is a solid piece that fits the back of the TV. Some TVs have the 110 plug at the center of the unit so we can't use the original slide and that type of plug. Will see what happens. Widths seem to be the same but heigth is now shallower. Our opening is 23.5" and the new ones are 19.5 to 20,5 high. Will have a 2.5 to 3.5 space. The world of change!!!
