20 ft is normally good BUT some campgrounds, like in Goshen where the Fall Rally is currently taking place, that will not be enough. Carry a 10-15 ft extension and you will normally have enough. I've got two Rhino Flex in my storage compartment along with a clear 45* clear fitting with the added back flush connection and I also have a 5 ft extension just incase I run into some place that my two 15's aren't enough. I also have a permanent knife valve on the end of my sewer drain pipe to keep any possible problems from the other knife valves on the tanks from surprising me when I go to hook the Rhino up.
