Steve, when you say data port do you mean the cable TV port? or is there some other port?

The data port is the telphone/ethernet cable connection that comes in around your desk if you have one or in our case in the rear kitchen(we don't have a desk) It can be used for telephone or the internet cable connection if your CG has those options.
