I have a couple of packages of "tack cloth" to use on the regular screens. Of course you'd have to get to the outside of them - I suppose that's what you are talking about. I've blown them off from the inside with a leaf blower (hairdryer doesn't do much). We have the maxx-aire fan in the bedroom, so the "stuff is just trapped up there. The only real way I know of is to just remove them and clean them good and re-install. This model has 2 long screws - one at each end.
