I carry 12 ton and 6 ton bottle jacks, but prefer to use the hydraulic leveling system for routine lifting of the trailer for maintenance and tire replacement. I have occasionally had to use the bottle jacks if we are in a bad location where the hydraulic system will not work. When using either method, it is advised to not put yourself in a dangerous position where a failure in either system would cause injury or death, just like with any other vehicle maintenance. I try not to use cribbing as it can be hazardous, but I carry and use a kit like this with my bottle jacks. https://safejacks.com/collections/bo...ut-bottle-jack
