Why is this?

Had a posting earlier about this, but we've now come onto three more 'el-cheapo' places that have better wi-fi and better cable than so-called 'resort' places. We like to use Passport America or military CGs for one or two night stays whenever we can. (Military ones for long stays too.) Anyway, every supposedly high-end CG we've been at (including the three letter ones) have marginal wi-fi and only sometimes anything you would like to watch available on TV.

The 'resort' we stayed at in Phoenix had water pressure so high it blew our my hose, no wi-fi, no cable, but they thought their golf course made them better. A 'tourist friendly' one shut off their water two days before the CG closed (we were there for the last day), no wi-fi, no cable, no anything but a dump station and $45 a night.

The downside on PA places has been not always level sites, lots of trees to get around, gravel and not pavement. Otherwise, they're more like what camping is supposed to be anyway.

I don't own PA stock or get paid by them, but we've had far more value from their participating CGs on this almost 7k mile trip than anywhere else.
