I use Mobil 1 full synthetic. I have dual turbos and it calls for 5 w 40 and that's what I use. I get Fram filters and change the oil myself and no problems what so ever. I only put miles on the vehicle in the summer so I change twice a year and I put on about 2,000 to 5,000 miles a year... I have a 2008 Ford F 350 diesel SRW .
Sometimes I take a vehicle to the dealer and get Ford oil and filter when I don't have the time to do it but the truck is usually in the summer and the quantity of oil (15qts) tells me to do it myself.
