prairepoodle, you are so right about taking the girl out of the desert but not the desert out of the girl! The desert just calls us "desert rats" home, I couldn't live any where else. We try to get out to LV once a year to see my son and family and friends we made while there, haven't been up to Pahrump in years - Jack use to like to play golf there. Know it has grown over time but I imagine it is a quiet place still.
