7 yrs ago when mine failed there were not that many postings about them failing. So I planned to replace mine with another. Mine was made of clear plastic. I found the name on it and ordered another. Got it and on close inspection could see stress cracks all thru the clear plastic. Obvious why the original failed. Sent it back and connected the pipes together.
