Trailer height seems about average.
That distance between the bed and trailer at the tailgate is a little close. If the trailer can afford to go a little higher what about lowering the pin box?
Although you did say your just starting out so maybe once you load all those goodies we like to carry the truck might squat enough to make it all good..
