I have used the Garmin 760 for 20,000 miles and it is not infallible. NEVER trust any GPS! After choosing my route I turn to Google Satellite view and look over any non-interstate roads for bridges and RR crossings and to familiarize my self with up coming turns, trouble points and to see my next RV park from the air. I also use RV Parks App to search the route for low bridges just to see were to avoid. You can set the app to mark all the bridges under 14 ft or lower. My wife uses the Garmin 760 to advise me but I have the route memorized and have often saved myself from disaster by knowing the way before I get in the truck. My route is sometimes different then the one the Garmin chooses so I have to pick way points to make the GPS follow my route and then I go thru it with my wife so she understands whats coming. I may sound crazy but I have never been lost or in a bad situation in my travels.
