I make a kit to repair the cable ends. The ends will on occasion pop off especially if they are too tight, and all I have seen from the factory are. If you have a piece of 5/32 cable and one of my kits you can fix it on the go. Should take no more than an hour. Most of the time you only need to replace the end as the cable is still good. So it won't look like the I'm making I business of this I give them away.
