Ed, that was funny!! I promise you won't smell the vinegar in the clothes! I promise!!! Thanks everyone for the tips! I emailed Splendide, who is well known for excellent customer service, and asked what the capacity is for the dispensers in the washer. The response was that he didn't know, but I could go fill it up but don't run it over. Okay! I'm going to try it in both the pre-wash dispenser and the fabric softener one and see which I like best. At home, I just put it in the washer (old fashioned top load) and let the clothes soak for about 1/2 hour before washing because I do like to use my liquid Downy.
