Depends if you want to roll the dice and have cash on hand to be able to fix something like a refer if goes out, ours is a 4 door and cost $3,500 and it would hurt to lay out that kind of cash quickly so for us it is a good insurance policy that they just rolled into the loan when I bought it just DON'T forget to have them START the extended warranty AFTER the 1 year mfg is up
