We stayed at Point of Rocks campground on the north side of Prescott and loved it. Phil dislocated his hip while we were there, and they couldn't have been more helpful. The campground is set in rocks and the spots are really nice. There are walking paths all over in the rocks, and you can see Javelina, chipmunks, little lizards and quite a variety of birds. It does get chilly there, we had a bit of snow while we were there in October.
