I got a little carried away with it. I built an insert to go into the vacated cabinet space and mounted the TV on an articulating mount. Then made a narrow shelf to go under the TV for support while traveling. And have velcro straps that hold the TV in place while traveling. I dabble in wood working, but far from a professional.

Simpler way would be to just install a flat piece of plywood inside the cabinet opening and attach a mount to it.
