Ok, just finished building a fire escape ladder for the bedroom and I'm ready to tackle another problem. What if you drilled a hole thru the handle and put something like an O bolt thru it and then used something like this ( http://www.amazon.com/The-Ultra-Club...ef=pd_sim_sg_4) to lock the arm in place. The purpose of the O bolt would be so they couldn't easily slip the lock off.
