RJ, same trouble with my 03 3280. Same Parallax converter. Always had boil out troubles. Put in 2 new batteries so they'd be equal. Still boiled. On order is Iota unit with IQ4. Everybody I've talked with says Iota is the way to go. I think Montana went to the Iota instead of Parallax. Good luck, Mick
