Jim if you go to an auto parts store, ask for the spray that the car buffs use to spray the rear tail lights to darken them but still leave it light enough for the signal lights to show through. I pulled the inside frame and removed the inner bubble. I then sprayed the inside of the outer bubble or lens and also the top of the inner bubble. This both eliminated the light coming in from the shower to wake us up in the morning and the heat that came in through the dome because it was clear plastic. I believe the can of spray tint was about $6 but don't quote me on that since "oldtimers" has a tendency to creep in every so often! You can order the dark tint outer dome but when I asked our service tech about it, he said if the dome is not broke don't do it because inevitably it will leak and he said he has no idea why! He's done three and they all leaked for some reason after he got done with them.
