I’ve stayed in the Buffalo Bill State park twice. I enjoyed my first stay. The second one the wind was so bad my brother and I were afraid to stay. We were afraid our 5er might be blown in the lake. If the wind isn’t blowing you will be fine, without much company. The wind can be howling on one side of the mountain and hardly blowing on the other. A friend told me the exact days the wind blows in Wyoming. It starts on January 1 and ends on December 31. That’s not far from the truth. I would say if the wind isn’t too bad, it’s an nice park go for it especially if you like to camp without a lot of neighbors like me.
