I change mine every other oil change or about every 14,000 miles. Special Note. Never use any filter other than factory AC Delco filters. They are a 2 micron filter and almost all of the aftermarket filters are 10 micron. I recently had to have my injectors replaced and the shop said it was most likely caused by using aftermarket filters.
