After a day of taking measurements I came to the conclusion that there had to be spacers required.

Asked etrailer where I bought the kits about the problem and they said I did something wrong and should call Kodiak.

Kodiak said I need spacers.

No spacers in the kit for 7K axle brakes. Would have been nice if they were there or said something about them.

When I got a bid for brakes from Stopyourtrailer.com they itemized the parts and I noted that they had spacers in the list. Maybe they know something etrailer should know.
