OK, this gets uglier and uglier every day. Seems like the dealers that sell you Montana's don't want you to know the facts. I called the Calif. DMV again today and asked them what would happen if I showed up at the commercial test center in Sacramento next week, and she said they would send me packing with my tail between my legs, if I did not show up with a Class "A" licensed person escorting me? WTH? So I pick up the Monty tomorrow, and then on this Friday I am taking it to my local DMV to register and pay taxes etc. Let's see if they give me any grief. If they do, I am not going to pay the taxes. The DMV pamphlet they gave me that outlines everything I need to know to pass the written tests, which I did, do not say any thing about having a Class "A" person escort you every time you tow your 5th wheel, until you pass the skills test? It is like I am 15 all over again rewind 44 years, and you have to have your parents with you while you have your permit, until you get your real license. So if anyone knows someone with a class "A" license that wants to earn $100/hour in the west Sacramento, CA area, next Friday the 12th, let me know.
