It didn't really get hot here yet, but I haven't had any problems in middle 80s heat. And our model (2012) has 2 ducts about 18 inches from the front wall with plenty of airflow when keeping the dump closed. Probably get a better test this weekend as temps are expected in the L to mid 90s.
I do have slide toppers also.
