Active Sync or Windows Mobile Device Center (depending on which you are using to sync your PDA with) has a option that when you sync to replace the items on your computer or the ones on your PDA or vice-versa. Make sure you have selected to keep the ones on the PDA or any changes in Outlook will also change the PDA.
