After our second cooling unit was replaced, I installed the ARP device, and our fridge is and has been working better than it ever had. Our first failure was crystal buildup that plugged the system, and the second failure was a leak. That was all in 2015, and it has been good since. I also like the feature of the gas mode that keeps the fridge working without 120 volts, and not having to have an inverter installed in addition to the fridge install. For less than $250, our fridge is protected from the overheat issues that cause these units to fail, and you will have excellent support from the owners of ARP. I see that they now have an even newer model that has additional functions. I have no connection with this product except being a customer.
