I'm considering replacing my Norcold 1210 with a Samsung 17.5 cu ft counter depth french door unit as I've just had my third unit failure and I'm done with Norcold. In measuring for the Samsung unit it looks like it will stick out an additional 3-4 inches beyond my present unit. And that assumes the new unit goes all the way to the back wall of the slideout. This leaves no room for the 2" of ventilation space recommended. Has anyone done this conversion on a unit similar to mine and is there another unit that might fit better. The Samsung model number is RF18HFENBSG and its depth with doors is 30.5625 inches. Thanks for any insight.
