FT coverage is just like the insurance you had on your S/B home, except your new home has wheels and is moved around the country exposing it to all kinds of potential disasters. So, besides the basic coverage you already have on your trailer, you will need liability coverage to protect you from someone getting hurt around your rig, climbing the steps and falling or any other possible injury that could wipe you out without insurance coverage. You may also want coverage if a tree falls on the rig or a pole jumps out at you and breaks the rig. We've had both the truck and trailer under one plan with Good Sam (National General), since we went full time.
